A re-manufactured piano offers the consumer a superior product at tremendous savings. It is economically feasible to re-manufacture most good quality pianos. There are many factors why a piano should not be restored, therefore consumer should always consult a qualified rebuilder. 

 

A well made vintage piano properly restored by a professional piano technician can be enjoyed for several decades and will out last many of the new pianos made today. In fact many new pianos made today will be not be worth rebuilding in the future. We are already experiencing this today with pianos that were made about 20 to 40 years ago. That rule does not apply to all new pianos. There are some excellent pianos made today that will offer more than one lifetime of enjoyment.

Should I have my piano restored and rebuilt ?

Typically, a reputably named restored piano will have a superior tone compared to most modern pianos.

Restored pianos have more elegant cabinets and beautiful veneers, often times with intricate engraving. These pianos hold their value better and are not made with chipboard, nor do they have plastic components.

Many of these older makes have real ivory-covered keyboards and were built by craftsmen who knew the importance of good, solid wood and veneers.
